February Reading Plan

January is almost over!! Have you broken any of your resolutions yet? I have, I’ll admit.

I’ve also been on a roll with reading books. I’ve cranked out 9 books in January! That’s a great start to completing my goal for the year. But I feel like I’ve been finishing one right after the other. Books are the biggest part of the blog and I spend most of my time outside of work reading/researching/writing about books.

But I’ve really hit a rut. I’m not really motivated to read much at the moment. It will pass soon, sometimes it takes a certain book to really get meout. It might be I need more sleep, accomplishing the neglected tasks on the to-do list, spending time with the dogs, etc. Things will pick back up again.

But my reading plan for February is that I don’t have one. I’ve been preoccupied getting collaborations and contract reads done. This month I am going to read whatever I want to read. If it means starting 3 new books, I’ll do that. I have some fun reads that I’ve been putting off and I don’t want to do that any more. I might even finish a book that’s been on my currently reading list for months (or years). Either way I’m going to go with the flow!

How do you get out of reading funks?
